Our vision at Happy Day Foundation is to create a world where children have an opportunity to participate in fun activities and to grow and experience the happiness of childhood. We focus on providing children with positive experiences that help them to understand the benefits of a good and healthy community. Happy Day Foundation guarantees that every time we organize an event, it will be a “Happy Day” filled with fun activities for these children.

Happy Day Foundation
In the ares of Ban Pa Na, Mae Thalob Subdistrict, Chai Prakan District, Chiang Mai Province, the Baan Pa Na community is located 22km or approximately 14miles north from the Chai Prakan city center. Even though it doesn’t seems that far but Ban Pa Na community utilities are still inaccessible; there is no water, no power, and the children lack educational opportunities because schools are far from their homes. Most of the people from the community doesn’t own any vehicles, and even if they do, parents cannot afford the time to drive back and forth or school allowances. These lack of educational opportunities along with other factors, leads many families to raise their children as best as they can.
The village’s leader, Professor Phiroj Suwan, contacted Sister Pensri Hore of the Ursuline Order to invite her to visit the village and donate goods to the children through the Happy Day Foundation. Da Antonio restaurant and the foundation jointly supported ice cream, snacks, and milk for the people in the area of Ban Pha Na. The foundation coordinated with Sister Pensri Hore of the Ursuline Order.
Given that both the President and Vice President of the Happy Day Foundation are alumni of Regina Coeli College, the only all-girls Catholic school in Chiang Mai, we are deeply committed to supporting the sisters and the Ursuline Order. As part of our ongoing efforts to express our gratitude and support, the Foundation makes it a priority to assist the sisters at Regina Coeli College. Every Sunday, we proudly provide them with a meal from Da Antonio, ensuring they are well-cared for and nourished as they continue their important work.

Sarah Minogue (Sal) was a remarkable woman who lived an extraordinary life. As we reflect on her journey, we are reminded of the countless ways she dedicated her life to her family and to helping others. Her unwavering love, boundless compassion, and selfless spirt left an indelible mark on all those who knew her.
From the very beginning, she was the heart of her family. She had a great sense of humor and loving spirit which came in handy raising ten children. Her warm embrace was a sanctuary, a place where you felt safe and appreciated. No matter how busy life became, she always made time for the people in her life. She had the ability to make each person feel special and valued. Her love was a light that brightened the lives of the people she touched.
Her dedication extended far beyond her family. She had an innate desire to help others, often going out of her way to lend a hand or offer support. Whether volunteering at the hospital, babysitting for her grandkids, or simply being there for a friend in need, she embodied the sprit of kindness. Her compassion knew no bounds; she saw the good in everyone and believed in the power of love to heal and uplift.
Her strength was truly inspiring. In times of adversity, she faced challenges with grace and resilience. She taught you that it is not the obstacles we encounter that define us but how we respond to them. Through her actions, she instilled in you the values of empathy, integrity, and perseverance – lessons that will guide you throughout your life.
Let us honor her legacy by carrying forward her spirit of love and service. Let us be inspired by her example to reach out to those in need, to offer kindness without hesitation, and to cherish the people in our lives.
About our students
The Shan people, also known as Tai Yai or Shan, are a group of people who live in Myanmar, southern China, and northern Thailand. The Tai Yai people in China refer to themselves as Northern Thai, as they live north of the Salween River (a tributary of the Irrawaddy River), and they refer to the Tai Yai in Myanmar as Southern Thai. In Thailand, the Tai Yai people migrated from southern China to settle in the provinces of Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, and Chiang Mai around the 17th century.
The majority of the children at this school are of Tai Yai descent, with many of their parents having migrated to the city of Chiang Mai from the mountainous regions for either work or their children future. The Tai Yai community is often considered part of the working class and many families face economic challenges, struggling to provide the same opportunities and resources that other Thai families may have access to.
As a Foundation that dedicate to support the future of children, we are committed to offering whatever assistance we can. Understanding the financial difficulties their parents may face, we strive to provide small but meaningful contributions—goods and support—that might otherwise be unavailable to these families, ensuring that the children have access to the basic necessities and opportunities for a brighter future.
